Dr. Alfred (Fred) Emmel MD MPH is a Board Certified Occupational, Aerospace, and Emergency Medicine physician with over 42 years’ experience. Dr. Emmel has trained and worked throughout the US and overseas – most recently employed with Concentra Health System, Presbyterian Health System, Sandia National Laboratories, Exxon-Mobil Corporation, and American Airlines in senior clinical and management positions. He is a retired Colonel, Senior Flight Surgeon, United States Air Force with 32 years’ service, and Legion of Merit recipient. He is a certified Medical Review Officer, Independent Medical Examiner, and DoD Public Health Emergency Officer. Academic appointments and activities have included that with Tufts University School of Medicine, Wright State University School of Medicine, Ajou University (S. Korea), and guest lecturer for University of New Mexico Department of Preventive Medicine.
